I've mentioned before that I'm a photographer and how I search the internet for the latest products, tips, etc. But one thing I also look for is inspiration from other photographers. I'm always learning how to take better pictures, tell a story, etc.
So, I wanted to share a link for one of the funniest photo blogs on the internet. And...in addition to it being funny, it's SUPER good stuff. This group of guys is made up of goofy characters who obviously know their way around their cameras.
MAMMOTH MEN
So...check these guys out. But make sure you've got some time on your hands because they'll suck you in and keep you looking through all of the pics from their 4 adventures.

Twitter is so crazy right now. The growth seems to be spurred on by so many different types of twitter'ers. The business guy, the "I say Funny Stuff" guy, the "i want to be like Brittany Spears" girl, the blogger, the "link me up" junkies, and so on.
I love Twitter for it's ability to build your personal brand. I'm into a bunch of stuff. I'm a freelance photographer on the side, and have been building that business via word of mouth and an online presence for two years. I work for an ad agency and use Twitter to search for chatter about the brands I work on and their competitors...there are just so many uses.
Twitter Search is not only helpful...it's just plain old fun...take the above image for example; top searches include "SXSW", "Watchmen" and "Chuck Norris"!!! How are there enough people talking about Chuck Norris to drive him to a top trend on the site?
Simple - he's Chuck Norris!

NASCAR came to Atlanta! Find the best info on your favorite driver...
I somehow became a pretty big fan of NASCAR over the last couple of years. I've worked for two Clients that have BIG NASCAR sponsorships and after watching it out of pure job responsibility, I now find myself yelling at the screen for my driver. Joey Logano is the new, 18 year old, phenom driver behind the wheel of The Home Depot #20 car. He's a great guy, who's an awesome driver and digging his feet into his first season as a Sprint cup driver. The Agency I work for does The Home Depot's advertising so naturally we did a lot of research on who Joey IS in order to concept the best advertising around his personality.
I wish I'd had a tool like Search3 to help me find the best information quickly because if there's one thing I've learned about NASCAR and its fans, it's that you'll find more information than you could ever want on your driver if you start searching for it. Search3 just helps cut down your search time.

Everyone you have to check out searchme.com they are building out visual search and its really cool. Let us know if you think this would be cool to add to Search3? Its very 'applesesque' not sure if that even a word or if i created a word today but its similar to what Apple does with their new Safari browser and with the iPhone album covers.

To click the sponsored links or NOT to click the sponsored links.... That is the question.
Searchers of the world... at this point, if you're reading this blog, you've discovered that searching 3 is way better than searching one. We at search3.com couldn't be happier that you are using the site....
It was brought to our attention last week that many of you, while doing your best to support search3, have been clicking on the sponsored links. This has raised a red flag with Google - our advertising solutions partner. We appreciate the thoughtfulness in helping Search3 out in it's early days, but by doing so, we are hurting Google's advertiser network... and we certainly don't want to do that. So... the questions stands: To click the sponsored links or NOT to click the sponsored links??? Answer: ONLY IF IT WILL TRULY HELP YOUR SEARCH! Otherwise, please click on the organic results. Thanks for your help on this and keep searching THREE!!

Habits, can you change them, should you change them?
So I have a habit, I use Google to search for stuff. Lots of things and I, like 70% of people don't even realize I am doing it. I use Google like I use my email client or my telephone, its a product feature in my browser rather than a company. Essentially its a crazy habit that I am not sure I can break. So a few months ago I tried going 30 days without using Google. 30 DAYS!!! I dare you to just try 2 days without using Google! During this time I used a bunch of search engines and was surprised at how good they all where at finding what i was looking for.
Yet at the end of the 30 days like a CRACK addict I returned to using Google, it was a habit I could not break. It was during this time I realized that you can't beat Google you need to join with them and hence the reason search3 will be Google + any other two engines you choose. The jury is still out on whether I can change my habit completely but why wouldn't you choose Google + two vs. Google by themselves?
Please let us know your reasons below

What do you search for offline?
Everybody hear at Search3 is all about making it easier to find what you're looking for on the web. It's just the beginning for us, and we'll be adding some really cool stuff in the future, but I'm curious what you constantly find yourself searching for offline.
I'm one of those people that always seems to misplace his keys. It's always when I'm running late, too. I'll frantically search the house, covering rooms that I know I haven't been in since I placed my keys wherever I placed them. I'll search under the bed, in the http://www.search3.com/search/?q=closets, on the countertops...you name it, I'll search for it there. And without fail, I always discover them in one of two places:
1) my pocket from yesterday's pants (or slightly more rarely in the pants I'm wearing).
&
2) in the hands of my wife who found them immediately in a location I'd already searched, but missed in my haste...
The real question is...why don't I start with these two places???
So for me, search isn't just online. Unfortunately, there's not much that Search3 can do to help me with this one. ;)

Find what you're looking for
The coolest thing about Search3.com is that it just makes finding "IT" easier. By "IT" i mean...you enter the blank. What are you trying to find? Just check it out.
For me, it's photography gear. I'm a professional photographer, who's been in the photo game for just a couple of years, so naturally I'm still trying to pull all my stuff together. But the biggest challenge is knowing where to get stuff, where to find the deal, or the information on the brands I use. I'm a Nikon guy, so I wanted to find reviews on the new Nikon D700. After searching for "Nikon Reviews", THE top result across all 3 search engines was Ken Rockwell's site. This guy has reviewed everything under the sun that takes pictures, so it was such a great way to find information on the stuff I'm really looking for.
So, I still haven't made the purchase, mostly because Ken's review pointed me at the newer D90 which is only $1k for the body. It's not nearly the camera the D700 is, but it would probably suffice and do way more than the D80 I'm currently working with.
